About
Hi, I’m Cali Clarke, MS, OTR/L, the owner and occupational therapist behind Just Be Me Therapy LLC.
I’m passionate about helping neurodivergent children and their families find more ease, confidence, and joy in daily life — by focusing on connection before correction and honoring each child’s unique way of experiencing the world.
My Approach
At Just Be Me Therapy, I use a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach that celebrates differences rather than trying to “fix” them. My goal is to help children feel safe, seen, and supported — and to empower parents with the knowledge and tools to understand their child’s sensory, motor, and emotional needs.
I believe that real growth happens through relationship and regulation, not compliance or pressure. Together, we explore what helps your child thrive at home, at school, and in the community.
My Professional Background
I earned my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Seton Hall University, and have experience working across a range of pediatric settings — including outpatient clinics, early intervention, and schools.
Currently, I work full-time as a school-based occupational therapist, supporting children in building regulation, engagement, and independence in their daily routines.
My background is in the following:
Sensory Integration and Regulation
DIRFloortime® (Basic Certificate)
Neurodiversity-affirming practice and advocacy
This blend of hands-on experience and ongoing learning helps me approach each child and family with empathy, flexibility, and evidence-informed strategies.
A Little About Me
Outside of work, I love to read (especially romance and fantasy novels!), travel to new places with my husband, and spend time being creative — through art, cookie decorating, or new projects.
The bee in my logo/picture has an important meaning. When I was younger, I would draw bees often, and they became a way to express myself. The encouragement I received from family reminded me how uplifting it can feel to be seen and celebrated for who you are in doing something that makes you happy. That same spirit, celebrating individuality and strengths, is at the core of my work with children and families.
Why “Just Be Me”?
The name Just Be Me reflects my belief that every child deserves to feel accepted, valued, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
My goal is to help children and families build understanding, strengthen connection, and create spaces where everyone can just be themselves.
